                                                                  2  Go back down through the fabric a little bit past where
                                                                     you came up initially, making a straight stitch. (Fig 7)
            3  Keep stitching in this way Fig 3, always taking your
               needle back down through the same hole that you    Fig 7
               take out from. The stitching will look nice, if you can
               keep the length of your chains the same.

                                                                  3  Skip ahead and come up through the fabric again,
                                                                     about the same length as the first stitch you made.

            4  Finish your line of stitching as shown in Fig 4, take
               your needle over the top and down the other side of
               last chain loop to create a small securing stitch.

                                                                  4  Go back down right where the last stitch you made
